“Look’s like you got what you wanted,” I whispered, plucking the white rose from his lapel. “Excitement and climaxes; turn of events. But most of all,” I got closer and whispered in his ear, as if he could still hear me. “You still won.”

Maeve is the former President Snow's granddaughter. She was brought up in a completely different enviroment than most kids in Panem. She knew nothing really of how life had been for the past hundred years, but she knew about everything else. Her parents raised her on stories, history, and songs all from a very mysterious Vault that was hidden away.

Maeve has done things too dispicable for her to even want to remember. She tries to hide her feelings, her memories, and her secrets from herself. She should have known that she'd be forced to face them all again when she gets sent to District Twelve to become the Recreational Teacher. She would have been fine, had Lilly Everdeen never showed up in her class room.

Now Maeve's past is brought to the light as she tries to peice everything together. How is she supposed to explain what she's done if she herself can't remember?

This is my first Hunger Games Fanfiction and I hope you enjoy it.

❝Welcome to hell! Tell me, how does it feel to be Snow's new puppets?❞ ➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳ A Victor's child is probably the most prestigious title anyone could have in the Capitol's opinion. Maybe even for the Districts. But the reality wasn't as great as they made it look. Dove Ogilvy, the youngest out of the three adoptive children of Librae Ogilvy, came to realise this at a very young age. The Hunger Games, the tributes, the deaths, even the Victors were all part of a massive show for the Capitol. No one could escape it. And for Victor's children, the reaping was just a formality. None had achieved to escape fate. Everyone knew they would get reaped eventually. And in District Four's case, they were thrilled for that to happen to the Ogilvy family. Dove was determined to volunteer. Angelique Ogilvy, her older sister, had all the odds to be reaped for the 66th Hunger Games. But she wouldn't let that happen. Volunteering at the age of thirteen wouldn't be smart, but she couldn't let her sister die for someone's corrupted show. However, President Coriolanus Snow had other plans for her. She didn't know, but her games started way before the voice of Claudius Templesmith declared the countdown. Let hell begin, and may the odds be ever in your favour. ➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳➳ (Pre-Hunger Games-Mockingjay) I do not own the Hunger Games or any of the characters, except the Ogilvy kids and some side characters. DISCLAIMER ➳➳➳ This was my first fanfic, so the writing isn't exactly top-notch. A rewrite is already in motion and being slowly published separately from the original.

Book One of the Timber Series. In the rugged woodlands of District 7, fate dramatically alters the lives of Hazel Marlowe and her younger brother when they are both selected during the reaping for the 15th Annual Hunger Games. The historic selection of siblings in the same games, quickly captivates the Capitol, drawing a morbid fascination from its citizens. Senator Coriolanus Snow, ambitious apprentice Gamemaker under the notorious Dr. Gaul, has his eyes set on the presidency. Determined to make this year's Games unforgettable, he sees a unique opportunity in Hazel's tragic story. As Hazel fights to protect her brother, she must also contend with Snow's mysterious behavior. It isn't long before she realizes that the Hunger Games isn't the only game being played. ~ The intensity of his scrutiny felt like a physical weight, pressing against her with an almost suffocating force. Then his piercing stare softened into a smile, one so well-crafted and timed it seemed nothing less than a rehearsed performance. She was walking a fine line by challenging a man who held her and her brother's fate in his elegantly gloved palms. With long strides, he closed the distance between them. His gloved hand took hers. The softness of his touch clashed violently with the dread coiling in her stomach. He leaned closer, the warmth of his breath against her ear contradicted the chill his presence invoked as he whispered, "Be careful, Miss Marlowe." ⚠️ This is a Hunger Games fanfiction after all, so it will definitely have moments of violence, death and possibly self harm. **This is a fan-created work inspired by Suzanne Collins' "The Hunger Games" series. All original characters and overarching story elements belong to their respective copyright holders. This fanfiction is a homage to the original works.

❝Who are you? Who 𝘢𝘮 I?❞ ✑✑✑✑ All tributes know when and how they get in the Arena. The Victor, however, never knows when or how they get out. Not until Claudius Templesmith announces their name and district to the entire nation. Once the tribute becomes a victor, they're taken out of the Arena. Only to eventually realise they never truly escaped. The nightmares, the cameras, the deals, nothing ever lets them forget. Their entire lives, they're reminded of what they did. The mask of luxury that covers their sleepless nights and destructive thoughts, is kept in place by the finest glue known to President Snow; a bit of hope mixed in the bowl of darkness and fear. There's but one problem with that mask. For it to work, the victor must have two essential things; haunting vivid memories and loved ones they would trade their lives to protect. One without the other is to no use. So when Olive Navin Cresta survives the 69th Hunger Games with no recollection of her time in the Arena, the mask gets destroyed before it's even placed. Please, don't forget, the odds are never in our favour. ✑✑✑✑✑✑✑✑✑ 𝕒𝕞𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕚𝕒𝕔 /𝕒𝕞ˈ𝕟𝕚ː𝕫ɪ𝕒𝕜/ 𝕟𝕠𝕦𝕟, '𝕒 𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕠𝕟 𝕖𝕩𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕔𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕒 𝕡𝕒𝕣𝕥𝕚𝕒𝕝 𝕠𝕣 𝕥𝕠𝕥𝕒𝕝 𝕝𝕠𝕤𝕤 𝕠𝕗 𝕞𝕖𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕪.' ✑✑✑✑✑✑✑✑✑ I DO NOT OWN THE HUNGER GAMES I only own my OC and part of her family. My representation of the 69th Hunger Games, a few side characters that aren't mentioned in the book, and their backstory. The book is based off The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.
