Lyric Reyes is not an average 16 year old that walks the hallways of Karson High School. First off she doesn't walk the halls she's dragged. By whom? Her twin sister Melody. Secondly she is an oddball compared to her twin. She lives the peaceful life loving food, her phone and her bed. What else could a girl need? Well according to Melody,a party. A loud, disturbing, wild party to celebrate Melody's 2 year anniversary. If that doesn't already knock her socks off, then attending it will. Lyric simply wants to do her norm. But she is rudely interrupted by the one and only, dragged onto her feet, forced to put clothes on and attend this party. All night she plans to stay mellow and hidden away but a spilt drink starts a ripple that will change her life forever. As these events unfold she gets to know Sam (Melody's boyfriend), and his little brother Calvin. As the friendships blossom many secrets are revealed, showing who they truly are and how they live their lives. All of Lyric's life changes because of what, you may ask? A little ATTENTION.
