Monsters

Monsters know only to bring fear. Each child has their very own monster when they're born. They follow the children until they die, a permanent fear. Monsters shape a person. A dark, faceless monster makes a man fear strangers. An eight-legged monster makes a man fear spiders. A monster doesn't know what he looks like, nor does he care to. He is there to cause fear and nothing else.
