How can I survive learning about these things daily for my whole life?! But, the thing is I won't be learning about them to just...learn. I will be finding out about these creatures because...I am one. New friendships brew while enemies start to boil. Some friends become more than friends. Then some turn on her. She's different. I'm the kind of girl who keeps her own secrets. I'm in high school and I still believe fairies....because I believe I am one. I've never had REAL magic but I can control wind spirit, and speak to her. Others believed along with me...but they always end up forgetting, or leaving me because they think it's just a game. I've been by myself since 5th grade. Now the Great Tree said it's time to train four other girls because another girl has taken over the Spirit of Storms. Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
