Judge Claude Frollo, enough said. Ever since I read a version of the Hunchback of Notre Dame I had praised Victor Hugo for his work. But when I decided to watch the movie? Well...let's just say I was screaming at how they has basically messed up a wonderful story, turning it from a tragic love story into what Disney does best, a movie that barely relates to the original source which was an ugly duckling story. In the book Quasimodo was a depressed figure at times with a temper at times but in the movie he's the hero, singing songs from Alen Menken! (No offence to him, his music is great) But no matter how much I found the movie an awful adaptation I couldn't help but become intrigued with really the only interesting character in the movie, Judge Claude Frollo. What made him different? Well he was a tragic figure, one of the church (I've accumulated an interest in the combats of religion) and for everything he did wrong, he tried to praise it as what God wanted. unique, scary and just plain perfect I couldn't help but start to write fanfic about this Prime Minister of Injustice. But the problem was I despised Esmeralda so I came up with an OC (original character) for him. Her name is Healia and her parents come from Greece before moving to Paris and being murdered, leaving little Healia alone. Luckily the gypsies found her and raised her as their own. This is their story together where Frollo, still quite young, tries to find out his true feeling for the little girl as she works for one year in his house due to an agreement. Hello! If you know me I absolutely Victor Hugo's Hunchback of Notre Dame but believe the disney take that came out in 1996 did the book wrong in many ways. One being one of the biggest characters in the book, Claude Frollo. I don't hate the movie, just believe they portrayed him in a very vicious and bloodthirsty way, completely opposite to the book. But no matter, he's an amazing, deep, original character and I think he deserves some fanfic. So I've taken it upon myself to write a version of the movie all my own and if you've read my other story ("The Servant of Judge Frollo") then you'll know I've been busy. This one however is a little more twisted with new characters and a darker plot. It all starts when Judge Frollo is told the very last thing he wants to hear. He is getting help from a foreigner who has ties to the king named Nikolas to control the larger gypsy population. Frollo and Nikolas cannot stand each other but decided upon a plan to infiltrate the Court of Miracles and capture the gypsies once and for all! But will love and jealousy get in the way? Especially when Healia and Esmeralda get involved? A fanfic filled with hopeless love, lies and bitter truths I really hope you all will enjoy this new fanficion. Please read and review!!! The beginning of the story follows the adventures and misadventures of the twins as they navigate through their high school years while living with their paternal uncle, who's a freelance indie producer, and doing what they can to pursue music. After a fateful encounter with old and new friends, the twins and their comrades decide to form a band together and name themselves The Vagabonds. Up against the A.I. singers that dominate the music world, The Vagabonds believe that together, they can convey their feelings through their songs. Will hard work and luck be enough for the twins and their band to create the biggest miracles that Earth has ever seen? ***BTW: In my plot, when I say "alternate future", I mean most of the shows, bands, or films people today are familiar with don't exist in this story, and singles that are done by real-life artists such as Miley Cyrus or Olivio Rodrigo, for example, weren't composed/sung by them in this story timeline. One of which is Jem and the Holograms. I say this, because I'm using some of their songs in ym story for the musicians I create. But there'll be songs that're done in covers by the artists in my story. You'll know when the song they perform is a cover by reading the text.
