For as long as they can remember, Jane and her brother Eric have been sheltered from the world by their parents. They were pulled from school, taught at home and rarely go outside. Just when they think that they'll never get answers, the siblings, who were born barely ten months apart, are deliverd 2 letters by an owl.

Jane and Eric are thrown headfirst into a world that their parents reffused to mention their whole lives, finding mayhem, magic and a whole family that they never knew about.
