When y/n has an accidental run-in with the infamous Ran Haitani at the fair, she has a hard time trying to get rid of him. Y/n is a kind, sweet, gentle girl who suffers from an autoimmune disorder, which affects her in everyday life. A hikari cannot live without a yami. A hikari without a yami has a year to live and will slowly vanish, the said hikari will become particles of lights before completely gone like a candlelight that has burned out. It has been a month since Yugi has live on her own without her yamis. She lost her friends thanks to a lie that Vivian and Anzu spread and to make things worse her grandfather was died due to an accident back in Egypt. Everyday that has pass makes Yugi's condition worsen to the point that Dark Magician is pissed at Atem and Yami and makes a decision to look after his Mistress Yugi in placed of them. Will they realize their mistake before Yugi's time runs out or will Yugi die in vain? [A/N]: I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh! but the story plot is mine and nope I don't hate any Yu-Gi-Oh Characters, I just have my most favorite to least. Yami Atem, a once cruel and heartless king, was obsessed with power and therefore, only cared for himself. However, because of his cold heart and selfish ways, he paid the ultimate price: Becoming a hideous dragon beast. Now Yami has one year to make things right by falling in love with another, who will return those same affections, otherwise he will remain with the doomed fate of staying a dragon beast forever. It may seem like a petty thing I ask for, but to Yugi, it would mean the world to have someone who knows just what it's like to feel unwanted all because you're different. However, while going to run an errand for his grandfather, Yugi accidently stumbles upon a castle with a shining blue rose to light his path, meeting the infamous Yami Atem. So then, what will come when these two meet, and can Yugi break through Yami's thick walls to restore what he has lost or will it be too late to warm his frozen heart? ~Summary~ Yami was tired of of being treated like he was a delicate gem in his kingdom. You see, he was the second child of King Sugoroku, meaning his older twin brother by a couple minutes, Yugi, was the heir of the throne. Therefore, he was treated like a jewel, made sure to be guarded at all times, and he hated that. All he wanted was to be treated like everyone else, not some fragile thing that needed to be protected at all times. One day, Yami snaps and runs away after an argument with his father. After an injury leaves him exposed in the dead of the night, a boy from a rivaling kingdom finds him and does the most unexpected thing.
