Seventeen year old South Shore High Baseball captain, Stephen Gray has been told that boys don't cry his entire life, but sometimes, boys cry too. For seventeen years Stephen has been able to hold in his tears, only for sixteen year old Vanessa Woods, the towns , "bad girl", to come along and force all of those tears out. The unlikely duo of bronze and bad come together, and battle the dark truths that they come to realize as life.
