There it is. A finely-paved pathway of stone bricks, accented with various metals and minerals, leading up to a large dark oak door. The building, massive in size, towers over me, edges illuminated by the setting sun behind it, casting a long shadow along the path. My suitcase shakes from my tremouring hands. This is it.

Golden Oak Academy, an academy that stays fairly off-grid, that specializes in its unique teaching style. A student will pick one specific subject, after going through a period of testing, and study that subject solely, until they become a Master Specialist.

I'm Damian, and I gave up everything to come here. It meant leaving behind a previous school, a previous town, a previous family. And it wasn't easy, gathering the money needed and the support from my family. They didn't want me to leave, even after I had gotten everything packed.
