Seven years ago the once peaceful kingdom of Azarath was taken over by the Assassins, a sadistic group who have a hunger for power and pain. Now, the inhabitants live in constant fear as their homes, names and titles have been stripped away from them, and replaced with a number. Women are forced into prostitution to satisfy the needs of the much wealthy Assassins, men are forced into labour work and children are confined in factories, never to see the rising sun again.

However, far away from Azarath, in an isolated forest, live Jeremy Flynn and his daughter, Adria in happiness and bliss. Hoping that one day she would fulfil her father's dream of saving Azarath and become the strongest warrior that ever lived, Adria aims to enter the annual tournament that is set up by the leader of the Assassins, Iago. But, her lack of training and effort minimises her chances of winning.

But, one fateful event leads Adria to find out who she REALLY is; making her determined to become stronger and win the tournament. Along with her journey, she meets Draco and Colin, and a beautiful friendship develops.

But, with her eighteen birthday approaching, Adria is trapped between defeating Iago and a heating love triangle. Will she win the tournament, save Azarath, and become the mighty warrior her father has always wanted of her? Or will she fail to beat Iago and become his slave?
