Dazed and confused narra la historia de seis adolescentes a quienes el destino se encarga de juntar, cada uno distinto al otro pero quienes finalmente terminan aceptándose, ayudándose e inclusive enamorándose unos con otros.
La adolescencia es una etapa difícil de llevar pero nada que con una buena ayuda no se pueda lidiar.

You know, those things that only powerful people can make up? Yeah. Those. They were the beginning of everything that ever went wrong in my life, but also the thing that led me to the end. Although, I didn't know that at the time, so a few bruises and kisses down the line, I found myself faced with a big problem. I had to choose between three people, all of whom had been lying about everything for months. That wasn't an easy task for someone like me, but the biggest issue? Peleides has been in and out of the hospital since he was five and now he is living in the hospital. He is a 17 year old boy who has never even step into a public school because he was how he put it hospital schooled. Peleides has always wished that the evil that is eating away his body would go away. Cancer that is the name that the doctors and his family say, but his cancer is different. Peleides woke up one night and looked outside the small window that was away from his bed and he prayed to God to send him someone that would love him even with his state. Hunter is son of one of the wealthiest man alive. Hunter is a 17 year old boy who loves to make trouble and have sex with strange girls. He hates to help people and do anything that doesn't involve him having sex or getting something out of it. Finally his father has enough of his childish behavior and sends Hunter to one of his hospitals to help around and maybe learn a few things about his fathers business and Hunter has to suck it up and go if he doesn't want to get his money taken away. My father once said to me, "This universe we live in is tricky. It never gives us exactly what we want but always shows us who we need." Granted, he was coming out of anesthesia after leg surgery and was pretty loopy and doesn't remember saying this at all. I live every day hoping that it's true but I'm always at war in my own head thinking that it probably isn't. Main Characters- Luukas is 17 and he's doing pretty well considering he recently survived a second suicide attempt. Out of the hospital and on his way home but he's already worrying that there will be a third time. His favorite book is They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera. Even though he has a permanently gloomy outlook on life he wants to find love. Current songs on repeat are Young Love by Eli Lieb, Sad Song by We The Kings, and Ashes by Celine Dion. Emitherios (aka Bailey) is 19 and wants nothing to do with his biological family or his adoptive family. He's on his own now but starting when he was 14 hey had kept him at a military academy, then a wilderness program, then a boys ranch for over four years. He's been on his own for over a year and he's looking for someone he can trust. He looks like he's got it all figured out, but he definitely does not. Theme- Luukas and Emitherios (Em for short) are teenage boys that find each other and then work to come together. Mental illness (Luukas) and a history of abuse and neglect (Em) do not make trusting or staying together easy for them. True love doesn't happen right away; it's an ever-growing process.
