Just a little mix between HorrorTale and Story Shift. I don't know if this is already a story or not, but here it goes.

It's been many years since the human fell down. The 6 souls disappeared and the King was dead. Since there was now next to no hope for monsters reaching the surface, the Underground fell into ruins. Monsters turning against each other and and under Queen Toriels command, any human to fall down would be brought to her for execution. 

Frisk, now 14, knew what they did. They didn't try to help the monsters in the underground and thanks to them, Chara, the other human in the underground, would be hated. Everyday they'd have nightmares about the ordeal. They knew Papyrus, caretaker of the ruins, would go insane from the lack of people to talk to. They knew Asriel, child of Toriel, would be trying hard to join the royal guard, maybe even turning against Chara, his sister. They knew that Asgore, the royal scientist, would eventually leave his family behind. They knew that Blooky, Mettaton, and every other monster in the underground would perish.

Frisk wants to help. But will going back into the underground help? Probably not. But they are filled with DETERMINATIONAll Rights Reserved

This is the story of Undertale. Everything goes along perfectly normal like it does in the game, with Asriel and Chara meeting, they make the pie for their dad, he recovers from the flowers, Chara dies... Though there is a change. When Asriel goes to the surface to lay Chara's dead body on the flower bed in the middle of the human village, and he gets attacked, he turns back before he dies. And this one, simple, turn of events, changes everything Okaay so, this is an old book. Nearly two years now, tho I don't remember the exact time I started it. Thing is old me didn't know how to write stories very well, and so in my supposed free time starting in a week or two I'm gonna try to edit this so I can feel a lil better about it. Edited chapters say, ~Chapter One~, ~Chapter Two~, etc. . (That's- slightly- better)

What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. "The Time Before" by ANinnyMouse42 is the backstory for Sans in this AU with some adjustments (mainly since that was very close to my original idea before I read it and I don't want people to think I copied their masterpiece or smth, if you haven't read it please do so, it's really good). Some things will be in reference to the other books in the trilogy or "From War to Science" by Emotistic-optimistic. If you haven't, read that too. It's really good (along with its sequel). In this new timeline, Kelsa, the SOUL of Bravery, falls into the Underground shortly after Frisk. Determined to save her only friend, Kel teams up with a mysterious flower with a face to find them and rescue them from Asriel's notorious freezing chambers. Betrayed by many, and uncertain who to trust, Kel finds herself in the midst of an iron-fist dictatorship, fighting to restore the Underground to the peaceful place it used to be. (I couldn't help myself, I like theses two games all lot so please don't judge and Frisk is still a girl, also Chara is going to be here as a ghost flying beside Frisk (they are a girl as well, she's a pacifist child too :) ) (Picture cover belongs to me) After All the monster's have been Free from the underground, the King and Queen, Asgore and Toriel, needed to have an ambassador on their side when having an Embassy. (Frisk is about 8 years old here okay) Frisk suggested if she could help them, but according to the country's rules, she's to young to be one. So that couldn't happen, Asgore and Toriel would have to leave with the people who made the rules to change it, so they had to leave Asriel and Frisk with Sans and Papyrus's, to take care of them at their new house. (All monster have new houses on the surface). As Sans turned on their old TV, he put on a old Cartoon, "Bendy And Boris Adventures". Frisk told them that, that Cartoon Used to be very popular back then, but she never new it would still be on to this day. As Sans and Papyrus left to get some groceries, both Frisk and Asriel had to stay inside of the house, both kids weren't sure why. But as they looked at the TV, continuing to watch the Cartoon, a knock was heard from the door, they opened it to reveal a old mail with black ink around it, as they opened it, it was pretty old, and it was signed by a person name, Joey Drew. Then a flash of light from the TV opened a portal, as they backed up, they were pulled into the portal. And as they opened their eyes, they were in shocked to be in a strange old building. Note: Looking back at this Yes I have noticed my many spelling mistakes and unnecessary long paragraphs, I could edit them but I'm too busy + lazy :')

Yet the monsters still struggle to find their place within the world. Most accept the monsters, but there are those who wish nothing more than the complete annihilation of monster kind. Merely sealing them away is not enough. As ambassador for the monsters, it is Frisk's responsibility to fight for everyone's right to live on the surface. But at the same time, an internal battle rages on within her. Not only that, her relationship with Sans is strained. Was this truly the last RESET? Sans wondered. But he knew only Frisk would tell, only this young girl would decide his future. He hated the thought of it at first, but hatred began to grow numb after he figured out he had no say in his own future. He had to admit though, Frisk was pretty reasonable, it was Chara who was the maniac. But she was gone now, so what was the anticipating, eerie, feeling that he had in his bones? The feeling that something wasn't right, of course, this timeline was already incredibly strange. The feeling sat in his in the pit of his stomach, tying itself into knots, until that fateful rainy day when all of his questions would be answered. So basically, this is a fanfiction of a fancomic of the game Undertale. Look, I'm gonna admit, I'm little stuck in the Undertale fandom, so this is my of slowly crawling out of it.
