Two intense competitors. One goal. One... unexpected romance?
Liana Haddox and Hayden Leske have been intense competitors on the trumpet ever since elementary school, and the world doesn't seem to be giving a definite answer of who's better. Is Liana first? Hayden? No clue!
But the world seems to have other plans for these two, as their school is entering a competition held at San Francisco- and there's a trumpet solo. To top that off, Liana unknowingly switches to a new trumpet teacher who happens to be Hayden's mom, and their history teachers pairs them up for a partner project!
But... what happens when intense competitors become... lovers?

The past two years were hard for her and the band, showcasing the amount of heartache they went through just to get to the horrible place they were in. When things were looking bleak, an amazing opportunity arose, one that Harlow and the rest of School of Rock couldn't turn down. The big band they maintain to keep them entertained in the evenings can't seem to keep one of its saxophone positions filled. When Declan and Tahlia's paths inevitably converge and their individual lives begin to intertwine, a connection develops. But a host of prejudices stand to keep the two apart and compel several in Tahlia's circle to keep Declan at arms' length from her. The only time he feels superior is with his violin at his cheek, so obviously the scholarship for Clarington is his and his alone. So why won't Eve quit trying? Two families, two teenagers, one rivalry. Will Jack and Eve ever be happy? Will they learn to tolerate each other? Will they find love? Or will 24 Lillian Lane always be divided... The Battle of the Bands ✓
He took a step closer, the smirk not leaving his face as he could sense my irritation. "I've been looking forward to this for far too long," he laughed, licking his lips. "And for once, I'm gonna be the one knocking the smug smile off of your face." My scowl deepened, confused as to what he was talking about. He took another step forward, standing close enough for me to get a whiff of his minty breath and aftershave. He leaned in towards my ear, speaking loud enough for only me to hear, "We'll settle this with the battle of the bands," *** [Completed] Kylie Thompson had it all; she had the perfect family, a handsome boyfriend, good grades, and she was apart of one of the best marching bands in the state. Within a year, that all changed. Her parents filed for divorce, her boyfriend broke up with her, her grades began to slip, and her band director passed away from kidney failure. Now Kylie has to deal with four new issues; her parent's immature fights, avoiding her ex, improving her grades, and keeping the band from falling apart. All of this, and putting up with a guy in the rival band that is so cocky yet so cute. With these newfound troubles, will Kylie be able to keep her life from crumbling, or will a certain someone come along and sweep her off her feet?Complete
