It wasn't long before the shadow of a figure was in visible sight. The familiar shape of his tailored blazer and tossed, curly hair was so incredibly distinctive of the famous and world's only consulting detective. Sherlock Holmes. All he needed was the long coat, blue scarf and deerstalker and he would be the perfect picture of how the press depicted him.

"Cecilia?" Sherlock questioned in a slightly more hushed tone.

"Hello, brother dear. Are you not going to invite me in?"

Set in the backdrop of 21st century London, it seems as though Baker Street has got a new Holmes in it's midst. However when residing with Sherlock Holmes there is rarely anytime for a family reunion and certainty not when he's about to face three of his most dangerous enemies. Love, in the form of the mysterious and ambiguous Irene Adler. Fear in the supernatural form of the completely impossible and a man who's criminal mind is unlike any Sherlock has experienced before.

The game is most certainly on and with some new players.

This is stunning. You've built a wonderfully turbulent, passionate, and emotionally investing romance without taking shortcuts or writing smut." - FanFiction.net user, @randomreader "Everything just slides so smoothly. You literally watch Sherlock develop into something new: a sentimental man. Now that is what I call good writing." - Guest user on Fanfiction.net "It's beautiful and so vivid; I can feel the characters' emotions. This is so suspenseful, I'm completely swept up." - Guest user on Fanfiction.net "Everyone is in character, there is a plot, and the romance feels genuine and characteristic of the pair. But [romance] isn't the entire story. There is more going on around them which feels real." - Guest user on Fanfiction.net "Completely riveting. The way you portray Irene Adler [is] amazing." - Wattpad User @SubaDev "Out of all the Adlock books I've read, THIS ONE is the very best." - Wattpad User @jeon_park131
