A girl named Cassedy is on a trip in Hawaii with her best friend (Brittany) when she meets a guy named Dylan. She falls in love with him but she is in a relationship with a guy named Richie back at home (Ohio). He is sweet but Dylan brings out a part of her she never knew of. In the end she cant have them both.

That's what's always been expected of her, which is why, since the fourth grade, she felt infatuated by Richie Tozier. He's everything she's told not to be, and isn't.
