Six years ago, he met a girl who showed him a whole new world. The next day, she was gone.

James is a mediocre guy. Except, he's not your mediocre guy. He's the most mediocre guy in the world. When James' girlfriend breaks up with him, he's left wondering what in the world is wrong with him.
Deciding that he needs an escape to his mundane life, he goes on a road trip across the country, chasing after clues to find the girl he had long forgotten. What disguised as a random goose chase is actually a journey of self discovery, and he realizes that maybe being unremarkable is actually quite remarkable in itself.

Comments and Reviews; "I feel like i'm almost reliving it too," - J.C "I really rate it! It makes it that much better of a read knowing that all this happened during my time, and actually knowing most of the shit that went down during springy fests and burden fest! Keep it up man honestly- it's like a piece of history, like fuck 98% while I was reading I just had goose bumps. I wanna see this on the shelves." - A.L "its really good! like good work on the grammer and use of words all everything, really makes the reader fully get into it. Makes me feel young again. I kinda just sat there and scared at the screen for a 20 mins not really sure how to feel." L.Xi

Only One I Call Home

22 parts Complete

I had to admit, he was cute. His eyes sparkled nervously and his lips were a lovely shade of natural red. He had his arms crossed over his chest, a gesture that could possibly get him knocked out in this place. He looked as though he could fake a tough guy but at heart he was gentle. I had good instincts and they were screaming to steer clear of this guy. Why? Because he would break my heart. Why is that all the best relationships happen at the strangest of times? Laurel meets Trey inside of a Juvenile Detention Centre and the two of them become closer than anything. For Laurel, Trey was the first friend in her life. But for Trey, he intended for Laurel to be his last. Trey is heartbroken when Laurel leaves the Centre and moves away from town, never to see him again. Laurel has runaway from her foster parents, changed her name and even the colour of her hair. She's created a whole new persona for herself and never wants to revisit the past, but what happens when the most unlikely thing happens? What happens when Trey moves in just around the corner?
