It was 300 years after the Moon's Assassin died and the Assassin Pack stopped being needed. When Diana died, so did darkness. Rogues were no longer, and hunters dwindled to nothing.
Xavier Raven became a powerful alpha of the retired assassins, now just a regular old pack. They grew in numbers and in strength. The one thing they lacked however, was a Luna... for Xavier refused to mate with another. Others had no idea why, to them Diana was dead and gone. Had been for 300 years... but to him, she was still alive, still beating and ready to fight.
The night of his 31 birthday he was gifted with the moon Goddess, who gave him Life. He hadn't aged a day, still as strong and powerful as before, and this is why he's the most powerful Alpha of them all. Now things seemed to be okay, children were taught the Moon's Legend, and everyone went to visit Diana's grave. But only one person still alive knew the truth, Xavier.

A pack needs both, but when your alpha is a 76 year old, your Luna passed away, and their only child is a girl, things get a little complicated. 76 year old Jed found his mate at 50 years old, the two were only able to have one miracle baby. Jed knows that his pack needs a new alpha and Luna quickly because of his age and his health problems. He knew how hard it was for him to find his mate, and he did not want the same for his daughter.
