The events of this story take place from season 10 onwards. Most cases in this story will be made up however I will add some from the show if they are related to the plot. Lastly, I do not own Criminal Minds obviously so most of the characters mentioned are not mine. However for the characters I did make up, they are completely based off my mind and I am sorry if the similarities are there. Other wise enjoy the story.

Hotchner and Reid really finally see one another. It takes time, heartache and a few drinks for them to get there, but they eventually do. This story is a slow burn and features a little bit of all of our favorite BAU members. Will use some actual cases from the show and well, strap in... it's going to be fun. Rated M for later chapters which will involve some sexually explicit material. A/N: Obviously some things are different, because this is fanfiction, but I have tried to keep things in character. The most obvious change comes right away in the first chapter. I have altered Reid's "confession" from the episode "Revelations" in Season Two. There are some details of Hotch/Haley that were changed as well to better suit my story. Without giving too much away, Hotch is a widower and single parent to Jack in my universe. This is set around Season 5-ish of the show, but in my story Jack is nearly seven years old. Enjoy.

After leaving the BAU without a word to anyone but Hotchner, Addy went back to the only home She'd ever known, Brookes memorial. Hospitals were for healing after all, weren't they? After spending a month recovering physically while wallowing in her mothers bed, Addy finally got back to work, saving people, the only thing she knew how to do in the hopes she could save herself. After three months of silence with the team, with Spencer, in the middle of surgery she looks up to see his face in the gallery watching.
