Only the wealthiest and most highly respected families qualify. But is the government actually trying to help? Winter Grey McFarlen is a week away from finally being released to the real world, when she has a dream of a strange blue eyed boy. The boy haunts her and she begins to believe he is real. And when she actually meets him and he tells her that she is the key for the rebellion she is faced with a crucial decision. She's a 16 year old girl who has under gone much heartache due to the dystopian setting. She has made a promise to her older brother, Drew, while he was on his death bed, to protect their younger siblings- a promise she hopes she doesn't break. She is very tough, but fear is a constant no matter who you are. In the story, fear is ruling her; the fear that she's failing Drew. If she, her family, and her neighbors were not in this setting, she'd be perfectly happy. But she can't be happy now, not with everything that's going on.Complete
