One thing never fails to brighten her day though, a strange green-eyed man. She decides to assign him to her personal guard, since she feels that she can trust him. She has this need to be near him, and that need brings things into her life that are both good and bad. 18 year old cat shapeshifter Saber is guarding the woman he loves, and she doesn't even recognize him. It's like a punch to the chest every time he sees her, and it's like she's looking through him. But, she did immediately assign him onto her personal guard, so she has to still have feelings for him, right? He tries to think positively, but it's hard. He never gives up though, not on her. Twin sister to Nia, Ivy is faring no better. Stress might as well be her middle name! Secrets are piling up around her and suffocating her, and she has a strong case of avoiding-my-boyfriend-itis. She's always researching in the library, trying to find a way to help her sister with memory problems. Dealing with that, as well as the pitying looks of her friends, piece of cake!.... Yeah, not really.

The government every year tasks its elite soldiers to participate in a nation-wide Cull. Hundreds of children are taken from homes and put into one of four Facilities. While most of them will be offered comfortable lives in the forms of low-ranking militia commandos and government jobs, a few will be groomed to be the successors for the highest office the government has to offer: The Law. And it would help to keep everyone in line and stomp out any pesky notions before they manifested into something bigger, something dangerous. Shirley is known in the Facility as Ten, alongside six others, they have spent years enduring confinement and rigorous testing in order to secure a future as head of the Law. When a group calls themselves the codas breaks into the Facility and kidnaps Ten and the others, she's forced to re-examine her future plans. In the year 2050, post-apocalyptic world, a lone girl must choose between becoming the next-in-line to head a corrupt government or siding with those who wish to see the world a better place. Order and lies, or truth and freedom? Whatever she chooses, one thing is clear: both sides bleed. Shirley should decide if the future she'd been promised since childhood is worth the lies it's built upon. Will Shirley choose the future that's been decided for her, or will she make out one all her own, even if that path leads to her destruction?

There are tall, thick walls protecting people from the outside world, surrounding the whole city and there is a ceiling, blocking the radiation from seeping in as air is filtered through the roof. The year is now 2205 which is the beginning for Earth to become how it was before. There are a group of people called The Warriors who go out and try to look for resources, facing death daily. A seventeen year old boy tries to steal food for his friend, he gets caught and is sentenced to death. The only way he could get out is if he joined The Warriors to search for a mythical jungle which is rumored to be flourishing in food and water. The journey is going to be very dangerous and death can come at any corner. There are bandit clans, somehow surviving outside of the walls and new types of animals unseen from humans that they didn't know existed. He will meet new friends, make some enemies and will be manipulated to do some really idiotic things, will he survive the journey and become a hero? Or will he die anyway?
