one town, very vintage, living in the old times and completely split across the middle creating the north and the south. one one school in the form of an academy for all children lies right on the border, almost the main hub for anyone under nineteen years of age. on the north, a rich little girl sits idly by in her bedroom but she's not so little at the age of sixteen. junior year holds her captive in this stupid town and she prays at night for an ocean to wash her away. she holds her breath when her parents fight and rolls around town on a retro-bicycle, leaving her marks in a small book. the south is more poor, a boy just turned seventeen in a gang. he roams town in an old jeep that belonged to someone else. his mother lies dead beneath the ground and his father resides in the next town over. he is completely alone besides a few close friends and the cigarettes he smokes and the alcohol he drinks, and he has a very succinct wish to die. then he meets a girl, she's younger than him, more naive to the world but she's exploring far out of her reach. and he meets her on the edge of the world, about to jump off. and something about him wants to know her. so they turned around and this is their story, exploring beneath star-ridden skies and burning to death sunsets. and how they both learn to fully live and grow as they dance on each other's heartstrings. a stydia AUAll Rights Reserved
