Brave, heir to the Abalone throne with a secret past not even she knows about. After her parents are killed in an attack from Flare, she flees to the forest where targeted attacks won't find her.
Courageous, princess of Flare is a disappointment to everyone except her brother. Coming from a kingdom both well feared and hated, Courageous is stereotyped from birth. When her parents force her into marriage for war purposes, she runs away to the forest to get away from it all.
Despite being enemies in a war that's far beyond them, Brave and Courageous decide to trust each other and work together to stop something that may not be as over their heads as they think.
Time is short. Destroying walls creates a path to peace, but with it comes death and destruction with no warning.
