"Contumacious... Can anybody tell me what this means?" Our English teacher called through the silent room. Everybody shifted in their seats, and I turned slightly in my seat to look behind me.

"I-It means rebellious?" I stuttered. He smiled, and nodded.

"Very good Averi, did anybody you know come into mind?" He grinned.

"Louis came to my mind." Somebody in the back chuckled. I fought a smile, and peeked around to Louis, who was in fact sleeping. I rolled my eyes at him, and turned back around.

The Academy of Music has a pretty famous punk band roaming around the hall ways, titled No Direction. The gang, as some would refer to them as, consists of Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson. The average rebellious group. These are the type of guys who enjoy games with girls, and instead of girlfriends, they have (skanky) flavors of the week, but if you're lucky you might get a month. Though this may sound like your normal "Bad Boy" story, you'd be wrong.

This is my story.

Smile at a Stranger (1D/ Niall) by marcel__

NIALL: What in the world just happened? I choked at seeing this girl? And did a spit take when I actually got a good look at her? What the hell is wrong with me? LOUIS: I turn around because I'm sure that would have made Summer laugh. But she remains silent. Her hands are still doing something with my phone and the stereo. Her face is blank looking at Niall with her eyes slightly squinted. That's weird. Summer has laughed almost every time one of us does something funny. ZAYN: "But you're One Direction." I hear her mumble. She sighs. "And that matters because?" She doesn't need to be so insecure around us. She just needs to be herself. I know that's what Niall likes. She turns around, giving me a look and with her hands on her hips. "Do I need to explain it to you?" She says sassily. Then she giggles turning back around. HARRY: "Where do you want to go?" The way her American accent blends in with her awkwardness and sassiness is attractive. And it's also funny because Niall hasn't taken his eyes off her the whole time. Mission accepted. Niall and Summer. LIAM: I look at him with a smirk on my face. He furrows his eyebrows at me. "What?" "Summer will be here soon and with all of us busy with our interviews. I thought Niall could occupy her." Zayn squints his eyes at me and comes right up in my face. "What?" I back up laughing a bit. He backs off. "You're quite the mastermind." He gives me a nod of approval. SUMMER: Man, how are we living in a world where a normal teenage girl can't fangirl anytime and anywhere? This sucks. Please forgive the minor bad fanfic moments, such as where they meet, falling in love in a short period of time, and a couple of small character cliches.

Sweet 16 (Liam Payne)

18 parts Complete

Hi. I'm Audra Rayne. I live in Wolverhampton. You might not know me as... well, me. But You may be knowing Liam Payne (Obviously) from One Direction. So, you may have heard about Liam's sixteenth birthday party. (If you haven't. Then be patient because that's what I'm going to say next. Patience Grasshopper), so no one showed up and afterwards he thought everyone in his grade hated him. But no one hated him. He was very good to everyone. The only people who hated him were the high school bullies, who made sure that no one got the invitation. And how do I know that? Well, don't shove me away and hear me out, but I was one of them. Yeah, as simple as that. And to add it, the whole time he thought that I was his friend. (Wow, that makes me feel loads better.) And I was, sort of. Because after his party. I felt very guilty, very very very very very guilty. So, yeah. You probably know what happened. I left the gang of bullies and I became his friend. I had learnt my lesson. I was his only friend and he was my only friend. But he thought I was doing it out of pity. And I told him repeatedly that I wasn't. And then he finally believed me. And then. BAM. He's gone. And now he's in the biggest band in the world. And I want him back. Because... I love him.
