Whatever Happens

"Hallie?" I ask, warning bells going off full force at the back of my mind. She's crying; that much is obvious. My little sister is calling me from a party at one o'clock in the morning, and she's crying. After what feels like an eternity of silence, she finally speaks. "Can you come get me?" she asks weakly. "I'll be right there," I promise, and we hang up. Hanna and Hallie have been through a lot, but no matter what, they've always had each other. What was supposed to be a carefree school year, quickly turns into Hallie's worst nightmare, and it's up to Hanna to pick up the pieces of her sister's broken heart. This, however, is easier said than done. Especially when Alex - a boy in a band Hanna meets at a party-gone-wrong - starts taking an interest in her. Will he and his band of fun loving, chaotic friends be too much for the girls to handle? Or will their friendship - and, perhaps, something more - be exactly what they need to get through whatever happens?
