"Scott. I love you but you gotta remember I'm faster and stronger than you and I can beat your arse under thirty seconds. But please let me help and I promise I can kill the spirit off this time. I-I promise. And I never make promises after my mom's death." Claire cried along with Scott. 

Her voice cracked as she mentioned the word 'Promise'. It pained her to say the word but it had to be said to let people know that she'll do it.
