Hunted

This is an apocalyptic fantasy for Young Adults/New Adults. There are a number of races involved, and you will see a sprinkling of magic too. The story follows Cayden, Dauphin to the Hunted race; as he tries to find the historical scrolls that contain the beginning of their race and then what happens when the immortals get involved.
Excerpt:
The streets weren't safe after dawn; with the sunrise came the hunters, assassins or whatever you wanted to call them. Whatever name you decided on they still had only one objective - to wipe us out. They hunted without mercy, killing our kind in droves. Always silent and hidden until the killing blow happened, we were finding it harder to fend them off and harder to hide. Eventually none will be left to tell our story, so I'm writing it down. Our memory will live on even if our race doesn't, and maybe, just maybe, you can learn enough to stop them wiping out you humans too.
