It's 1927 in a small town named Courshire on the outskirts of London. Benedict Hemsley Charles "Hemsley" , is a 16 year old boy who never thought he'd find love again after the incident with Lily-Ann back when he was 13. He watched his mates go on dates with their sweet hearts as a third wheel, denied twice when his mother asks him to go to homecoming with his geeky cousin Marge, and stays home in his cluttered room drawing portraits of imaginary women. But then the first day of his last year of secondary school comes. Chatting in the court yard with his mates they notice older boys picking on a girl on the other side of the yard. None of his friends want to help, so Hemsley breathes in and walks on over to the boys. He bravely says to leave her alone. Before the tallest boy hits Hemsley, the bell rings. All the pupils head inside except the girl and him. This was the start of their true love. Life would test them. Her name was Aura and Hemsley soon falls in love with the bullied girl. The thing was people run from her; not by behavior but her looks. Burned in a house fire half her face was burned. Is love true by attraction or personality? They connected and that was all to it. Through that year together they were tested to see if their love was real. She fell, but meeting him made her, and even him Rise Up from their tragedies.
