When Macy Parks has to stay at her Uncle's house for the whole summer because her older brother has a hockey scholarship at the college only 20 miles away she's so upset! She's exactly 689 miles away from home, (she did the math to prove her parents its too far). She is not happy about it at all, at least at first anyway, when she learns how they do things at the lake she starts to realize this might just be the best summer ever.
