the year was 2056,right when the marks were discovered, Humans bumped into the Gem race. They offered to help replicate these Necromorph producing things,but when a Gem named Gray was called in as an engineer,he never knew what hit him. His partner was a human male named Alex Marke,they never knew that they would encounter hell in it's prime....where Hell finally got its grasp on the Physical Realm. Mutated,mangled forms started attacking, they were the Necromorphs that the Zircons had been theorizing about..and Humans weren't the only ones..
