figures of the void

cole fulton has lived all of his 17 years in pain. his father left when he was 4, his mother committed suicide when he was 14, now he is in a foster program. but it's not like he spends any time there. cole is not only terribly anti-social, he also suffers from bi-polar depression. he has had this condition ever since he was diagnosed at age 13. and his mother's sudden death didn't help him either.
these days, cole has been worse than ever. his manic episodes have been happening frequently. he has been getting into more trouble than usual. and he has been having a very hard time staying sober.
on a gloomy tuesday morning, cole's social worker, Mr.Gersh, showed up on his front porch. Gersh then said two sentences that changed cole's life forever.
"Pack your bags, boy. You're getting help."

cole takes all of his belongings and commutes to a middle-of-nowhere town called Clearville. and in clearville, there was a mental rehabilitation center. Langston View. but there is more that meets the eye. something... inhuman about that place. he soon finds out that inhuman is just one of the many colorful words to describe that place.

cole then meets a series of quirky, messed up teens just like him. will he feel at home? or will he just shut everyone out again? will he try to fix the beautiful mystery that is aubrielle hunter? or will he give up, and let himself succumb to his demons.
