Yuri Katsuki has finally won gold after the Men's Grand Prix Final for figure skating. But instead of being optimistic in the present and enjoying his growth of fame, he instead becomes pessimistic about the future. His idol and coach of two years, Victor Nikiforov, has been a major factor in helping Yuri achieve gold. But Yuri is haunted by the past, remembering how much Victor had sacrificed to become Yuri's coach. Though Yuri has accepted the fact that he has fallen in love with Victor, he has also accepted the fact that he might have to let him go back to Russia. Determined on letting things go back to normal and letting Victor compete again, Yuri avoids Victor as much as possible, thinking that Victor will leave easily, but feeling pain in thinking so.
Victor, on the other hand, is determined on keeping his promise. Yuri finally won gold, and Victor was not lying when he said that after Yuri did so, the two would get married. Even if it hadn't happened last year, Victor was still determined on commitment with Yuri. Doing so has not been easy ever since Yuri has avoided his coach. But Victor swore that no matter what, his three year long crush would some day become his husband.
How will it end? Will Victor give in and go back to Russia to continue competing on the ice, or will he stay by Yuri and fight for his love?

When you finally get to meet your role model and hero Yuri Plisetsky at the Women's Men's finals in France, you had no idea what a jerk he was. Over time you two find feelings that you both have never felt before. Will you act on the feeling? Will he? Or will you both ignore them and carry your life the same way you always have?

I know the description sucks, but the story is really good and I think it is the best one I have ever written. This was intended to be a one shot and now I decided HEY Let's just make it a fanfic maybe it won't hurt. This is my first x reader and I am really excited to do this. I would love it if you comment me ideas or tips for my writing. Thanks for reading this far and please do enjoy my story.
P.S
I am a professional figure skater, so I made the routines myself and picked out the music, myself. I had one of my teammates check my book for any possible mistakes on my routines, so don't judge if we missed any. Actually, feel free to tell me. Thanks for reading this far and enjoy!!
