His dumb boss Patty won't give him a raise since he just sits in the electronics department and "tests out" each of the games to make sure they work every day.

Loves you a lot but is gone pretty often. Brother: [Carter, Last name] Left around 14 to go work with gangs, became a professional hitman and caused you and your parents to go into hiding at some points because of rival gangs.
