Bk1 of Thunderbirds

Hey Folks and Fans of the Gerry Anderson's Thunderbirds franchise and adaptions.
How We Became Active is Book 1 of my series Thunderbirds. It's based of the 2004 Movie Thunderbirds with some ideas from other movies such as Iron Man

Comment any ideas for future books and vote/like.

Synopsis: The world is full of Terrorism and War but disasters are up top. Death increases every year as disasters gain the upper hand. Without the advanced Technology of International Rescue, people keep dying. But the world doesn't help others, the people help only themselves - Until now. I'm Jordan Kennedy, 13 years of age, someone who cares about others and soon to become the leader of the biggest worldwide disaster relief; International Rescue.
Follow the crew's beginning and join in on the intense, dangerous missions we go to.

A quick note: Please note that all designs of the Thunderbird Aircraft are based off the movie and surround adaptions

This Thunderbirds story first saw the light of day when it was serialised in two parts in 1995/96 in the Fanderson fan magazine 'Collision Course'. Since then I've revised it to fix typos, improve the dialog and make the text flow a little bit better. The serialisations were illustrated, but sadly I've not been able to trace the artist to ask his permission to include them. The story is based on the characters in the original Gerry Anderson Thunderbirds TV shows. It's a mix of adventure, mystery and humour and is a little bit off-piste compared to the original episodes, but then most fan fiction is these days. To enjoy it, forget about the puppets and think real people dropped into an unexpected adventure and into peril - that's the way it's written. It starts with an earthquake and an item of jewellery, and ends with some of the IR members fighting for their lives, and inadvertently rescuing a whole community. The main characters in the action are Alan Tracy, Virgil Tracy and Tin-Tin Kyrano, but all of the IR team appear here and there. There are a number of introduced characters, but all of these are simply there to provide liveliness for the story, and they're not characterised as fixtures. The story is my original story, but of course the IR characters and the Thunderbirds concept were created by Gerry Anderson and are the properties of the current holders of that copyright, which is why the story copyright has to be 'All Rights Reserved'.

The last refuge of the dispossessed. The place Tila Vasquez now calls home. When a distant colony of stars lost contact with earth, they descended into the fires of a civil war. From the ashes rose the Commonwealth - Eleven systems struggling to survive the aftermath and rebuild civilisation with the remnants of the technology they once had. The mission to colonise Baru was to be the first step forward in a hundred years. Three colony ships set out to discover a new star and build the first hyperspace beacon in three generations. But the mission failed. The Far Horizon vanished through the unstable wormhole. The Rising Star and New Dawn were destroyed. Tila's parents were among the thousands lost. Now she has joined the ranks of the dispossessed. So when Tila finds the impossible - a shuttle from the Far Horizon buried deep within the Juggernaut - she sets out with her friends Ellie and Malachi to uncover the truth behind the colony mission. But some things are buried for a reason, and some secrets should never be revealed... **The Juggernaut is part one of an exciting space action-adventure mystery series.**

I have sat often in front of the computer, and stared long at the screen without ever writing a word. The synopsis for this project has haunted me since the first person asked me "So, what is it about?", and to this day I have never been able to deliver a straight answer. This book is about a number of things, many of which do not fit evenly into a succinct description. I have tried to make them fit and have found the resulting descriptions ill-representing and dull. Thus, I have decided to go without a description. This book will fade into obscurity no matter what I put here, so I might as well write what's really important. Winter in a city is an especially punishing time. This book comes out of my late nights and early mornings riding the train, and my looking at the window and being able to make out nothing but the blur of the glass. From the outside it may look dead, but certain people know that the inner workings of a city are a true marvel to behold. In writing this, I have tried to capture that marvel and deliver it to you, the reader. This is a book about a city and the people within it. The rest is up for you to read, if you so choose. Pyre lives on whether you experience it or not. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A science-fiction novel, updated whenever there is new material to post. The last cover was AI generated, so I spent some time making a crude cover of my own. For the sake of Wattpad I have divided up the chapters into parts, so everything under "The Glow" is Chapter 1 and so on. If you have read this far into the description, I thank you; you've made it further than mostly everyone before you. I hope you stick around. ⠀⠀
