Those were the words that seemed to echo through the very depths of our souls.

Elena Smith is your typical high-school girl. No, she does not like the spotlight. In fact, she prefers to take the quieter route with much less drama and less people. Her number one enemy is betrayal, wounds may heal but that doesn't mean the scar won't be there. Everybody has a chapter they don't read out loud, everybody is fighting a battle that you know nothing of. Why were people so quick to judge her? None of this matters now for she's stronger, she rose from hell but nonetheless that doesn't mean the pain doesn't come back from time to time. "Smile through the tears." That's what she has been telling herself throughout the years.
