Mackenzie Hope was the last person you'd ever expect to join marching band. She's always been the quiet one and never tried to make any friends. She never played percussion or drums and for some reason, she decided to give it a shot. She only discovers her struggles with it, unable to read the music and understand what she's looking at. So when a drummer boy, Nathan Ballen makes a stride in making a friend out of Kenzie she's left with telling him her struggles. Only problem is, the struggles she has during band are nothing compared to the struggles she has at home. Kenzie has never trusted anyone in her life. Until now. Have you ever felt so broken that you couldn't pull yourself out of bed and continue to live your life like you used to. A girl who made me forget all the things that I've been through because she made my present more than just worth living, and my future to be worth looking forward to. And she made me fall in love with her harder than anyone did. Harder than anybody could. And I wouldn't mind to fall over and over again if at the end of the line, she's there to catch me.

She Learns some secrets about everyone in her life and has no idea how to deal with it. all she knows is that no matter what she has to ride for her ballah. the question is, who is her ballah?

What exactly will Verra do for Dethklok, or TO them? *This story is not specifically focused on romance, and not every chapter will include it (although it is a big subplot).* Edit to add : Yo. It's 2022 now. I was like fuckin 14 or some shit when I wrote this. I still think it's funny and all, but you can 100% tell it's a 14 year old telling this story.
