"My team and I are a group of scientists who hope to protect the world." I rolled my eyes. "There are many dimensions, or parallel universes to ours." I leaned forward, realizing this might actually be interesting. "People just like you are there. Whatever happens there, happens here. But sometimes, what happens here doesn't happen there. But it's bound to happen eventually. And sometimes, those things are bad things. And we need someone to stop these things. The bad things are usually monsters or other evil mythical creatures." He paused, smiling. "But surely normal humans can't deal with them. So my scientists and I have come up with state-of-the-art technology that gives humans super powers such as shapeshifting, flight, healing, control over the elements and etcetera." I grinned a bit. As if that was true. "After lots of thought and examining, we have decided the seven of you would be the best candidates to try out our technology." Dr. Grey stopped pacing. "The question is... will you do it?" Their lives were perfectly fine... until everything went wrong. They had the chance to start over... and they took it. Anika, Michael, Lisa, Tiffany, Ashley, Aiden, and Antonio had normal lvies, until something happened. An organization called Mystical Seven offered to give them the chance to help the world, to give them superpowers to protect people. They were doing perfectly fine, until a giant situation arose, and the team started to crumble. Will they be able to save the world and its people or is it doom for everyone?

"They took my sister. Now I'm taking her back." Seventeen years ago, humans started developing supernatural abilities. Comic books came true as the first person flew, created fire, mind-read. The world entered a new age where people who could do special things were revered and admired. That all changed when one man lost control of his power and unleashed a huge explosion in a crowded shopping centre, killing over a thousand others. A series of fights involving superhumans broke out, resulting in the destruction of multiple cities and hundreds upon hundreds of further lives lost. The government began hunting down those extraordinary people with the assistance of a specialised unit: trained in recognising different abilities. Suddenly powers became something scary, uncontrollable and dangerous, that nobody wanted to own up to having. Seventeen years after the Explosion, Amelie Rose Carmichael is the daughter of the man who is in charge of hunting down and imprisoning these people. She enjoys a comfortable life, protected from any threats against her. But when Amelie develops an ability without warning, she must try to keep it hidden from her family, her friends, and above all her father. Can she keep a secret? Will she use her powers to help the rebel organisation that has approached her? And what secrets are the people around her hiding?
