The capital city in the post-apocalyptic kitsune world isn't out of the ordinary. There's nothing spectacular about the vintage-feeling town, or the shifty people who inhabit it.
But Rue Grillix has called the settlement home for her entire life- and her life is what gives the town it's color; blood red. And it is her job to paint the streets crimson when she is paid to do so.
Rue is an assassin, who works the slums of the city. She is the best- she has to be the best. She's fast, deadly, accurate, and has never lost a job- but the life of an assassin is never easy.
And only the good die young.

Well for me being a tri-hybrid with a dark depression, no real cares and no emotion, killing was easy. Until a certain target of mine. I changed my identity and started a new school. His name is Jake Nimen, the school hotty, and up coming alpha; a threat to the Markers pack.
