Before the Clone Wars, Avalii was a Jedi Padawan. Her master was Ki-Adi-Mundi, one of few Jedi's who got the honor of being in the Jedi council. Avalii never got the chance to finish her training before the war came. Once it started, Avalii felt uneasy. She had thought that there would be peace throughout the galaxy as long as the Jedi were there to stop all the evil. A couple weeks after the war began, Avalli snuck away from her life as a Jedi and went to live on her home planet, Ryloth. There she stayed for a couple years, until she heard that there was a new Sith called Count Dooku, who was killing innocent people and Jedi. Maybe she could just help out on the sidelines...

The Clone Wars end, Chancellor Palpatine is revealed as the Sith Lord and taken down by the Jedi, the chips are found and deactivated, Order 66 never happens and the Clones are finally given the rights they deserve for all they've done. All is well. And yet, the fighting doesn't seem to be over. A deeply wounded Republic, left reeling from a war orchestrated by its own leader, desperately needs someone to blame for the all the death and chaos in the Galaxy, the deception by the Sith and the suffering across the systems.
