I smile up at him. "Man, you haven't changed at all have you, Marco?"
Marco peers closer at me. "A-Aspen?"
I step forward, and poke him in the chest with my finger.
"Well, I'm sorry I didn't give you a proper welcome home! But who's to say I can't give you one now?"
He frowns. "Aspen, I-"
The rest of his sentence is cut off by the sound of my fist making contact with the right side of his face.
"Welcome home, you jerk."

"I walked over to where Aaron was sitting on the ground, kneeling so that I was face-to-face with him. He was wearing a blank expression on his face so I guess he didn't really care if I kissed him or not. The fall had been a big mood ring for Oskar. Breaking the school rules he gets almost expelled from school, but it brings him and Aaron together for the first time in 2 years.
