"Why do the stars always shine down on us; like they are continually judging us like some kind of God? Why do people judge us just like the stars? Who are they to decide our destiny?" Lucas, a normal boy from a small town, suffers from social anxiety and the feeling of constant isolation. His mind made it seem as if he was forever lost; swimming through a vacuum in space that lacked the stars. Stars shine, everybody shines in there own way however, Lucas had lost his shine; he had lost his star and his way. To combat this isolation, he reads. He reads until his world is consumed by the monochrome pages and he becomes every word. Until he meets Mateo. The boy who likes reading over the shoulders of others; the boy who is caring and loving and the boy who will risk his life for his friends. The stars caused him the same problems; the feeling of the talentless vacuum. With Mateo's mysterious calendar and the Stars dissatisfaction counting down the day, Will Mateo be able to stop the inevitable time bomb?

Anxiety

Thea Salvatore. She never thought her life could get so complicated, in such a short amount of time, in one situation continued on. After losing people closets to her, and betrayed by another, she closes herself off, focusing mainly on school. This causes more problems than solutions. Her anxiety comes out in full force, sending her into multiple attacks at any given time, during school, after school, in the middle of the night. She's so anxious, so nervous, so afraid that she's going to be hurt, or worse, killed. Then a foreign exchange student moves in with her best friend, and befriends her. Her life changes, she changes back into her old self. She comes out of her shell, her mind shifting off all the stressful times, and past times, and focuses on this new guy in her life. A guy she desperately wants to keep, but wants to also keep safe. They go through twists and turns, but in the end, doesn't happiness always win?
