Not all men are created equal, and I learned that lesson at the young age of four. The day after I returned from that quirk doctor, my life spiralled into chaos. For the next ten years, I endured daily beatings, abuse, and neglect from everyone around me, except for my mother. But as fate would have it, she was taken from me as well. I lost all hope of becoming a hero; my dreams and spirit were shattered. Ultimately, I decided to heed the taunts of my tormentors and take the leap they urged me to take. But just before I hit the ground, someone intervened and saved my life. He taught me extraordinary techniques, and after my training was complete, he bestowed upon me his power. Years later, I returned with a single goal: to do what is right, to let no one stand in my way, and to change society as we know it. My name is Izuku Midoriya--the next ultimate life form. This is my story. note: I do not own any of the characters in this fanfic sonic the hedgehog ' shadow, the hedgehog and MHA, are all owned by there creators please support the official release. Also, this is my first fanfic, and I'm not a writer by any means. I just got bored and thought I could give it a go. One last thing the fanfic is written in British English, so some words may be different from what you are used to Edit: The first few chapters could have been a lot better i was still trying to figure out how to put my thoughts on paper but I promise if you stick around it gets a lot better especially when the MHA stuff comes into play around (chapter 5) hope you all enjoy!!

For as long as you could remember, you had been alone for your whole life, staring at stars in the dead of night to try and feel at least a little closer to home. There was another person on this planet that was also alone and in almost the same situation as you, but that was different, this was different. You had been sent to Earth to protect him from the shadows, and you didn't plan on getting involved with him by any means. You were his guardian angel that he didn't even know existed, and you planned on keeping it that way. Well, at least you tried. After a while of watching the boy talk to himself and pout while kicking rocks, muttering how alone he was, you eventually found the heart to reveal yourself. Now, you were lying underneath the stars with the boy right next to you, his mouth spewing words at a speed you couldn't comprehend. But that didn't matter, all you really cared about was the hand that was in your own, squeezing it every now and then to know that you were still awake. That you were still by his side.
