Even as children, Gleeful Twins had always had a lust- for power, fame and fortune. They would do anything to fulfill their wishes, including summoning demons, performing rituals, and even murdering the innocent (enough) citizens of Depravity Falls. When Dipper attempts to achieve another one of his objectives-fortune, he finds himself stuck in an inexorable deal between him and a dream demon. Three years later, the Twins still suffer from the curse that the demon caused them; yet the deal isn't completed yet. The demon is still waiting for it's side of the deal- until now.
Pacifica Southwest, quiet and curious, and Gideon Gleeful, energetic and passionate, are both visiting Depravity Falls, on a summer-long trip with their money-hungry uncle. This small town is known for its abnormal activity- strange disappearances, hidden rooms, markings that can't be translated- all unexplainable. Pacifica is unbelieving, until a strange glow leads her to a hidden room in her uncle's "Mystery Shack". Here, she finds herself drowning in the supernatural conundrum that is Depravity Falls, lost in the theories and fantasies that were believed to be false.

Dipper, however, has been hiding some secrets he isn't too proud of and when he meets the triangular villain all over again, those secrets become even harder to keep. Not only is that hard enough on its own but it looks like that villain has some of his own.
