They are wrong, life is hard, death is easy.
But I figured that out the hard way.
Slowly losing Grayson made me realize how short life truly is. But it also showed me how much we should treasure the good moments as much as the bad.
But above all, we should hold on to every moment we have of our time on earth.

-----------------------------

When 21 year old Emma Dayson begins to lose the one person she loved the most to leukemia, The world stops and stares for a moment.
While Emma struggles with the chaos of her life in the massive city of New York and the pull to keep her boyfriend alive, it takes all Emma's strength, her friends, and the memories of their past to show her how precious life truly is.

Follow Emma Dayson into the life of Grayson Foster, and on the journey to find the strength of holding on to life.

I sneered up at him with distaste, wanting to wrap my fingers around his neck and strangle that smirk off of him. He brushed my golden hair from my face, his long, slender fingers sparking electricity in my skin, making my knees wobble together. "Will you ever, forgive me?" he whispered huskily, his eyes intently staring into mine. His face was only mere inches from me. I just needed to reach out a little further to kiss him... "Yeah. Over my dead body." I snapped, before throwing my arms out forcefully, shoving my hands into his chest, pushing him from me. -*-*-*- He, is Carter Williams. I, am Lacey Adams. We were once, inseparable. The 'Golden Couple'. The unbreakable best friends, that everybody envied. Nothing could get between us. A part from being tighter than white on rice, we updated our status from friends to being in a relationship, frequently. We were neighbours, which meant our families were all close and even co-owned houses around our town. This, all is, until the day of my sixteenth birthday. Everything changed. The loving relationship we shared, was severed and torn apart. I couldn't hardly stand to look at him any more, without spitting fire that is. Every day is torture being around him. "Teenage relationships are fake." That's what most people say. They think it's just drama, temporary attraction, and silly heartbreaks. But sometimes... teenage love can be more pure, more intense, and more real than anything else. This story is about that kind of love. In this book, you'll see how different two people can be .. not just in background, but in how they see the world. The girl belongs to a rich family. She's bold, smart, and knows what she wants. The boy comes from a middle-class home. He's calm, simple, and scared of getting into something as confusing as love. Still, destiny brings them together. They're both toppers, both talented, both teenagers. But when it comes to love .. their thoughts don't match. She falls first .. slowly, softly. And he falls later .. but when he does, he falls harder than ever. This story is not about perfect people. It's about real emotions, silent stares, late-night thoughts, innocent fights, handwritten letters, and unspoken promises. It's about teenage love .. raw, messy, honest. You'll laugh with them. You'll cry with them. You'll smile at their small wins and feel your heart ache at their misunderstandings. Because this book isn't just about romance. It's about growing up, falling for someone when you least expect it, and learning that love doesn't care about status, fear, or timing. So welcome to this journey. A journey where she fell first... and he fell harder. A beautiful, imperfect, unforgettable teenage love story.

'Love is like a child, That longs for everything it can come by' -William Shakespeare _______________________________________________________ Maya Matthews is the description of perfection, or as she has been addressed. She excels in every field she steps her foot into, be it from her perfect grades to being the best daughter a parent could ask for, you name it. Her tenderness is what attracts every guy's attention. She seems to have everything she could ask for. What could possibly be wrong with her near to perfect life? Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth. Maya has her demons that she desperately attempts to hide from the world that not a single soul knows about. Shawn Daniels is the perfect storm and the missing puzzle in Maya's life. He is the polar opposite of Maya. Smart, confident, and witty. He's often misunderstood for a bad boy, who has quite a handful of girls swooning over him. He's a carefree soul. He is the yin to her yang. What happens when they cross paths and Shawn unleashes Maya's dark secrets? Will he succeed in his mission to pull Maya out of her past, and show what life has to offer? But life is certainly not a bed of roses and nothing comes as easy. _______________________________________________________ They say love can overcome anything. You never exactly know when it will strike and turn your life upside down. Love will make you doubt every single thing that you believe in yet you will find yourself drowning in it slowly, very slowly but deeply. _______________________________________________________ All rights reserved © 2020-Shrya1712
