"Hello, high school... Another three years of nightmares." I quietly said to myself before entering the gates of Westfield Academy. A school for beauties and elites. I honestly do not know why I got into this school. Everyone here was either rich or beautiful, but at the same time smart. While pitiful me only had brain. Well so I thought until I met him... the one who wouldn't care if I had any of that. In his eyes I'm already more than that.

I shifted uncomfortably in my seat as he stared across the table at me. I could seriously drown in his eyes. He was intoxicatingly attractive and he had to know it. That's why he was acting strange around me. For some reason, he looked at me as if I was the only one there with him. As if nobody else were here. And his voice... it pained me. It actually pained me with how utterly seductive and husky it always sounded. And the way he smelled all the time. I don't know why he smelled so strong, but I didn't mind. He smelled like evergreens and a hint of mint. It sounds like a bad combo, but it dizzied me with how lost I got in it. The thought of not being able to control myself, my thoughts and feelings and body when I'm around him, infuriated me. I was so good at holding myself together now, and he just unraveled me so easily, leaving me a mess. I wasn't the slightest bit afraid of him, and I had no idea why either. Just being in the same room, I felt like I didn't have to look over my shoulder. I didn't have to worry. I didn't even know who he was, and he still drew me in. "So, you were in California before? Why did you move?" Grace Hatfield asked, looking at him. She is our school's college and career advisor. She took me in and adopted me a couple years ago. She even gave me her last name. A saving grace. Why had she invited him here? Why did he come? He turned to her with a smile and a shrug. "Guess I just hadn't found what I was looking for yet." Something about the way he said it, sent a shiver down my spine. Why did I feel like there was so much more meaning behind his words than he was letting on? "Well, I hope you find what you're looking for." Grace said, and he turned to me with a devilish smirk and a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Something tells me that I will."

The edited version of this book is being updated under the name "That's Inappropriate, Mr. King." Twenty-two-year-old Anna wonders if she will ever find her mate. After her brother suggests that she should go to her original pack and try her luck, she decides to move there and gets her first job as a high school teacher. She had dreamed about her mate for very long time, but when she finds him, he is nothing like she expected... ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Mr. King, what can I help you with?" "Mate..." He growled... A conflicted look in his eyes. "I knew this would happen, but I told you, we have to wait-" He scoffed, interrupting me. "I Caleb King, re-" Now, I interrupted him... with a kiss. I know I should not be doing this, but I have been looking for him for so long and I just needed to do this... At least once. A real kiss with my mate. I expected him to pull away but he put his hands on my lower back and pulled me closer to him. I could feel sparks and a happiness and tranquility invaded my body. It just felt right and I wanted more, but I knew how this would end. I felt the tears running down my cheeks. I stepped back, interrupting the kiss. He whimpered a little bit and for a second I saw adoration in his eyes, but he pushed it back, giving me a blank stare. "I am sorry. I needed to do this. You can reject me now." He looked a little taken aback. "You were going to reject me. I just thought we both needed to experience this only once. You are the future Alpha, so I should not be the one to break the bond. Please do it now!" I do not why, but I wanted him to do it. After all, he was going to do it before and I did not want a kiss to change his mind. "I Caleb King, reject you Anna Amores as my mate." I think I could hear my heart break in that second. "I Anna Amores, accept your rejection, Alpha, and I wish the best for you, always." I gave him an honest smile... And he left, without looking back... ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
