"Where are you going?"
"America! You guys can come visit all the time!"
"Oh."
I looked down. No matter how I tried to dress it up, I really wasn't wanting to go at all. Nothing waited for me in America. I looked at Daniel, and then back at Phil, and sadness radiated off their faces.
"Maybe-Maybe I could stay? You could hide me in you closet!" I laughed. They both gave me small smiles. My face fell, and I cried. Daniel hugged me, and then Philip, and we collapsed on the ground, sobbing being the only sound all around.
Several years ago, Mary left for America. She left the only other people in the world she cared about behind, but now she is coming back. She kept up with them, and their fame. But she isn't aware, however, of the many changes she missed being gone...
