Oh look, another story about love? No, not exactly in 'A Smile Doesn't Mean Happy' a girl finds out that her life isn't as what she thought it was. Not everybody has the life they want it to be. But when someone smiles do you think they are happy, or do you think they are running from pain? Jayne the main character lives somewhere she wants to get the farthest from. She goes to a school were she doesn't really fit it, but she still makes the best of it. Jae goes through her high school years to find that nothings perfect, and there is a lot of bad things that happen though out only four years. Can she handle it?
