"I want to show you something," I said guiding Jullian into my bedroom. I shut the door and led him to my bed. "We're best friends, right?" I asked, sitting on the bed. "Well, yeah. Of course we are. What's going on, Mariana?" He answered. "I want to try something. Close your eyes." He nodded nervously and closed his eyes. I let out a deep breath and closed mine as well. I leaned in and allowed my lips to crash into his. I didn't have a single clue what I was suppose to do so I just sat there for a few seconds. He pulled back and looked at me with wide eyes. "Mariana, what the hell was that?" He croaked. "What? I wanted you to be my first kiss." I retorted. "But- I'm fifteen and you're not even thirteen yet." He explained. "I don't care. I'll be thirteen in three days. Age shouldn't matter. You don't like me, do you?" I replied. "It's not that-" Jullian murmured, putting in head in his hands. "Then what is it?" I asked. "You're beautiful and smart and funny, and you deserve someone who isn't..." "Who isn't what?" I nearly whispered. Jullian lifted his head from his palms and looked at him with red, teary eyes. "Mariana, I'm gay."
