As a sophomore student, I was given this assignment and naturally, being the excellent student I am, waited the night before it was due. Despite how tired I was, I found that writing went by quickly and I had surpassed the minimum pages for it. Yet, I wasn't content because I found that I had developed more ideas than a short story for class. So, brought to you by my pesky perfectionism, I bring you a story of the gods, goddesses, and their plan to restore human morality.

Queen of the Underworld
When eleven-year-old Naia and her father return home to find Naia's mother and baby brother missing, a mythical creature called a satyr tells them their loved ones have been kidnapped by the dreadful, three-headed canine beast, Cerberus. They must embark on a journey through the mythical land of ancient Greece, up to the very top of majestic Mount Olympus all the way down to the dreary depths of the hellish Underworld, to reunite their family. Along the way, they meet and interact with the mythical characters Naia has been learning about in school; the great king Zeus, playboy Poseidon, bitter Hades, sensuous Aphrodite and the majestic Pegasus, just to name a few. Rostris: The Hunting Demigod
Being the daughter of Goddess Artemis and of a mortal in the 21st Century kind of makes a girl lonely. But with loneliness comes determination to be the best demigod out there. Rostris lives in Foloi Oak Forest alone but grew up with Amposa, a woman centaur whenever her mother wasn't around. Rostris would hunt and train everyday with her bow and arrow with her pet Laelap, a Greek mythological dog who never failed to catch what she was hunting. Rostris was abandoned at birth by her mortal father so she has no idea who he is or his family. Her mother Artemis' side up in Mount Olympus never made contact with Rostris. So when Zeus, her grandfather decides to show up asking for help, she definitely didn't appreciate it. But, she ends up taking on the quest presented to her to hunt a dryad named Ekho. Dryads are female nymphs that inhabit forests and trees. Along the way with the help of Laelap and a runaway Titan, Rostris comes along life-threatening challenges like being close to Ekho but then missing her, dealing with Hera, Zeus's wife, that is trying to kill Ekho out of jealousy because Zeus likes to consort with nymphs and will stop at nothing to do it, and also being targeted by Ekho's daughter Lynx, who can make spells and will stop at nothing to kill Rostris. But what the real test is that is presented to Rostris is trust. Trusting herself and others because trust can go a long way.Lengkap

A Hades/Persephone retelling. How often do you catch yourself wondering how somebody's touch would feel? How soft their hands would be as they caressed your entire form, how sweet their lips would taste when they descended down to yours, how diabolic the touch would become as the hands would drift lower and lower? I laugh at you pitiful humans who scurry about this Earth with out a purpose seeking only life, but finding only death. I welcome death. I know what is coming, and the Goddess of Darkness will welcome me into her kingdom when I die. For now, I serve her purpose. I fight wars in her name, and serve as her avatar when needed. When she first came to me, she burned the love out of my heart. Now I find only humor in silly human affections. Love. It's such a short and despicable word. Maybe I could just enjoy fighting until I died, if it wasn't for the city. My city. My own corrupted city that cast me out for saving one of the city's own. The city I spit upon for its treatment of the gods and goddesses chosen people. I swear that one day, I will come back.
