Popular Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer were thought to have peaked in 2014 with hit song, "She Looks So Perfect." However, their third album was a huge success- more than the band or their fans could have ever seen coming. It blew up and the boys were royalty. However, as suspected, fame got to their heads. Especially for lead singer and guitarist Luke Hemmings. After turning to partying, drinking, and eventually drugs, Luke brought himself down and took the entire band with him. Now, three years later and almost twenty-four years old, Luke is a minor celebrity who still occasionally gets stopped by a few loyal fans for photos on the street. But most of the time Luke is in aimlessly walking around New York City alone, or he is with professionals trying to get help. Disappointing his band mates, family, and even fans, Luke knew he needed to try and turn his life around. So when Luke runs into Emma Scott one day after a therapy session, he realizes that sometimes love is the best way to turn your life around.
