This story takes place after the End Dragon War, and after Joey Graceffa, the Lost Empire ruler who is in love with the server's demon, Xornoth, had worn the given Crown that made his eyes red and made him more bloodthirsty than ever (Episode 17 - Xornoth Gave Me A Gift!) Some of these won't make sense if you are not following the series' entire encompassing storyline, and are not interested in the lore.
