"What is this?" "Oh don't act like you forgot." Playing dumb is beneath me, sort of. How does someone even respond when a random guy walks up to you holding a picture completely identical to the one your holding? That's a little vague. "Well that look on your face speaks for you." Damn. Avoid this or don't avoid this? Screw it... "How ya doing Jay?" ~ ~ ~ She knows him and he knows her. Even after almost 4 years, some things never change. She still has that old camera around her neck. He still has that goofy grin. It's been forever since they last saw each other, at least that's how it feels. The story of their friendship ended and remains left in two identical photos that they hide in their hearts. Their story ended almost 4 years ago. Now they're strangers, and that's how it's going to stay. That's obviously not how it's going to stay, but let's let them think that for a couple of pages.

"When I first met you, you were a complete stranger. But through time, I thought I really started to get to know you. To know the way you react to things, the way you look to the side when you're nervous, and ultimately, the way you feel about me. But, right now, after all that you've said, you feel more like a stranger to me than you ever did before." I can't believe those words just came out of my mouth. I was hurt, and my heart was shattered like a hammer colliding with a mirror. Broken, by one of the only people I trusted would never break me. ~~~~~ Lindsey Grey was regretting going to the basketball game in the first place.
