She knows him and he knows her. Even after almost 4 years, some things never change. She still has that old camera around her neck. He still has that goofy grin. It's been forever since they last saw each other, at least that's how it feels. The story of their friendship ended and remains left in two identical photos that they hide in their hearts. Their story ended almost 4 years ago. Now they're strangers, and that's how it's going to stay.

Like a bolt of lightning, this stupid boy appeared in my life. First day of summer break between first and second grade, he just appeared- standing on my porch like he was born there.
